WATERPROOFING INSPECTIONS

This penultimate inspection assesses the effectiveness of preventative measures for water damage to a structure. 

The issue of a waterproofing certificate is only valid until the next trade comes along and disturbs the membrane and then your warranty becomes VOID. The most cost-effective way to control this issue is for your tiler to employ the waterproofer and issue the certificate under their name, therefore, should an issue arise in the future the tiler has ultimate responsibility. 

 

Stewart Building Consultants will inspect the wet area waterproofing membrane before tiling commences to ensure it is Waterproofing Code compliant.  Photos will be featured in the report to accompany our recommendations.
